Salbutamol 100 mcg Inhaler is a fast-acting bronchodilator belonging to the short-acting beta-2 agonist (SABA) class. It is used for the relief and prevention of bronchospasm in patients with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other reversible airway disorders.
Salbutamol works by relaxing the smooth muscles of the airways, leading to rapid widening of the bronchial passages. This improves airflow, making breathing easier within minutes of inhalation.
